New supplementary provisions approved by Council of Assembly
At its recent meeting, Council of Assembly approved changes to supplementary provisions to the Book of Order.

The Council of Assembly met at Te Maungarono Marae, Ohope from 15 to 17 March as the guests of Te Aka Puaho. Council Convenor Jenny Flett writes that, "We acknowledged the specialness of the place and were warmly welcomed by Te Aka Puaho.

The date for public submissions on euthanasia and assisted suicide has been extended to midnight Tuesday 6 March 2018. You can send make a submission to the Justice Select Committee considering the End of Life Choice Bill before the Bill gets its second reading in Parliament.
