Reception to Governor of Hong Kong by Governor of Kwantung Province at Canton, 9th March 1928 :

This scene marks the beginning of what was known as the British and Cantonese "Entente Cordiale", being a renewal of  friendship between the two countries.

Seated in the front row, from left to right are :

- Marshal Li Chai-Sum, Governor of Kwantung Province, China
- Sir Cecil Clements K.C.M.G., Governor of Hong Kong
- Member of Kwantung Government

Those standing at rear are all members of the Kwantung Provincial Government.
