Dr Edward (Eddy) W. Kirk joined the Canton Villages Mission as a doctor in 1909. He served as a doctor in France during World War One, married Miss Winifred M. Stubbs in 1918 and served the mission until 1927. He was involved with the Kung Yee Union Medical Education Scheme.
