Miss Agnete N. Yansen from Australia joined the Canton Villages Mission as a teacher at the Tak Kei Girls' Boarding School at Kong Chuen in 1924.  The School moved temporarily to Macao c. 1938 and she served there until 1940 when she left on furlough.  Due to World War Two she was not able to return to the school at Kong Chuen until 1946 and spent these years in Australia.  She left China in 1949 and later returned to Australia.

Included in this file is : her Foreign Missions Application, medical reports and testimonials; copies of personal and official letters and correspondence; minute of appreciation (1950); letter offering for Missionary service as a teacher in the New Hebrides (1953); deputation work.
