Sr. Violet J. Sutherland joined the Punjab Mission in 1927 as an evangelist and teacher, specifically with village women and girls. She retired in 1956 and returned to NZ.
Included in this file are : her Foreign Missions application and medical reports; testimonials; copies of personal and official letters and correspondence, deputation work; Selly Oak College (Birmingham) Course Reports (1934).
Note - Sr. Sutherland came under the jurisdiction
of the Church of North India in 1953.
