Mr Charles R Stringer joined the New Hebrides Mission in 1928 as a teacher and assistant to Mr JW Mansfield at Wuro on Ambrim. He resigned and returned to New Zealand in 1929.

of Wuro Station in volcanic eruption (Jul 1929); inventory and value of
