New Master for Knox College

The Very Rev Dr Graham Redding has been appointed Master of Knox College, Dunedin. He takes up the role from 12 January, 2015.

For the past eight years Dr Redding has been the Principal of the Knox Centre for Ministry and Leadership, which is the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand’s Dunedin-based training centre for ministers and lay leaders.

Through his work as Principal of the Knox Centre, Dr Redding has had a close association with Knox College. The Presbyterian Church’s Knox and Salmond College Commission  believes he is well suited to taking the college forward and developing it further as a highly regarded home for students attending the University of Otago.

Dr Redding has a Doctorate through London University. His book, Prayer and the Priesthood of Christ in the Reformed Tradition, was published in 2003.

Graham is married to Jenni and has three adult children. He and his wife will live in the Master’s Lodge, a separate residence on the site of Knox College.

An induction service for Dr Redding will be held in late February 2015.
