I Love Taiwan Applications are open for 2024

I Love Taiwan is a two-week programme hosted by the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan in July each year. Participants meet with youth from Asia and around the world, learn about life in Taiwan and share in youth outreaches in both urban and rural settings. Global Mission supports the participation of PCANZ youth in this programme, including a travel subsidy for up to four participants. See the information and application form. Please note - email applications to PCANZ Global Mission Director Phil King first – don’t email directly to Taiwan. Global Mission will only provide subsidies for applications sent through and endorsed by PCANZ.  For further information contact Global Mission Director Phil King.

I Love Taiwan Youth Programme for Young Adults

The Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand has a valued partnership with the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan (PCT). This includes the I Love Taiwan programme where the PCT hosts young adults and gives them exposure to different aspects of life and mission in their country alongside youth from all over the world. Many young adults from the PCANZ  have taken part in these programmes in the past and benefitted greatly from them. There is no cost for participants in Taiwan apart from personal spending, but successful applicants must cover their own airfares. As an incentive, Global Mission will offer four travel subsidies of $500 per person to successful PCANZ applicants. The application forms must be sent to Global Mission Director Phil King before being sent to the PCT.

About I Love Taiwan

Our Church enjoys a warm partnership with the Presbyterian Church of Taiwan (PCT). Each year the PCT hosts a dynamic programme called I Love Taiwan, which attracts youth from all over the world, who share in the PCT’s youth and children’s ministry and learn about the unique culture of Taiwan. Global Mission supports applicants from Presbyterian and Uniting churches to attend this programme, which runs in July each year. Applicants need to be at least 18 years old and require endorsement from the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand to qualify for the $500 travel subsidy.
