The devastating landslide in Maip Mulitaka, Papua New Guinea caused the loss of hundreds if not thousands of lives, with many more injured and homeless.
Papua New Guinea is a Pacific neighbour, and the PCANZ shares membership with the United Church of Papua New Guinea in the Council for World Mission (CWM).
