Our churches are lead by teaching elders, who are also called ministers. They serve the Church in response to their sense of a Call from God.
Our ministers train at the Knox Centre for Ministry & Leadership, after completing a recognised tertiary theology qualification. Their training at the Knox Centre includes time as an intern in a local church as well as block courses in Dunedin.
Ministers receive a stipend and housing, as well as some other benefits, in return for serving in one of our 416 congregations.
Library resources (books and journals) are available through the Presbyterian Research Centre’s Hewitson Library. For more information contact the Hewitson Library..
