The Beneficiary Fund has as its objective the support of Ministers of the Church both in service and particularly in retirement. The Fund is managed by the Trustees while responsibility for the rules and discretionary activities are governed by the Beneficiary Fund Committee. Changes to the Trust Deed are needed to bring about compliance with the applicable requirements of the Financial Markets Conduct Act (2013) and the Financial Markets Conduct Act Regulations (2014). A resoultion is before General Assembly 2016 to enable the Trust Deed to be changed. A draft of the intended changes to the Trust Deed, as well as a legal opinion re the Trust Deed amendments, are here for those who wish to view them.
