Spanz winter 2017 now online

In the winter edition of Spanz magazine we discover the housing crisis is a hot election issue for many Presbyterians and their communities. We explore why five hundred years on the Reformation is still relevant today. We profile two filmmakers whose faith can be seen in their work. We congratulate Knox Waitara’s youth leader who was awarded gold. We are inspired by two Wellington churches reaching out to residents of local council and Housing NZ flats. We find out how Neighbours Day was a gift to churches, their communities and their newest neighbours. We hear about a modern way of doing women’s ministry. We learn how an amorangi was inspired by previous generations of his family. We celebrate the first Aroha grant and learn how it will nourish a community. We are welcomed to a first of its kind Korean church op shop. We share progress on changes to the retirement scheme for Presbyterian ministers. We share plans by KCML to adapt its training to equip the whole Church. We find out why PYM Going Further in Christchurch was a challenging experience. We meet two Presbyterian couples who are helping our partner churches in Vanuatu and Myanmar. Plus many more stories from throughout our Church.
