A Martin Luther Festival hosted by St Heliers Presbyterian Church is one of many events happening around the country to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. An opportunity exists for young adults under the age of 35 – ministers, theology students or young adults with an interest in mission - to join a study programme for a month this year in Yangon, Myanmar. The event is the Asian Ecumenical Institute which will take place from 25 September to 20 October. This will include attendance at the Asia Mission Conference in October. This is short notice but is a great opportunity to build awareness of mission and ecumenical relationships in Asia.
The Christian Conference of Asia (CCA) invites applications from young Christians belonging to the Presbyterian and other members churches in Asia to serve as stewards for the Asia Mission Conference (AMC) to be held in Yangon, Myanmar from 11 to 17 October 2017.
The stewards program will last for 10 days, including three days of ecumenical formation training and pre-AMC orientation; with arrival on 8 October and departure on 17 October 2017.
