Presbyterian Church elects spiritual leader who will encourage young Church leadership

The Right Rev Hamish Galloway of Christchurch is the new Moderator, or elected spiritual leader, of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand. He will begin his two-year term from the evening of Wednesday 29 September 2021.

The opening Worship of the 2021 General Assembly, including Communion and installation of our new Moderator, will be streamed live on YouTube. For those not attending as Commissioners, you are warmly invited to share in this important event in the life of our Church.

Te Wiki o te reo Māori - Maori Language Week 13-19 September 2021
Every year since 1975, New Zealand has marked Māori Language Week, and te reo Māori became an official language of Aotearoa in 1987.

The 2021/22 lectionary (Year C - Luke) and calendar is now available for download from the Church's website. The new lectionary commences on 28 Nov 2021.
