Pakistan floods
Record breaking monsoon rains have killed at least 800 people and affected one million in the north west of Pakistan. Officials fear the worst is yet to come if the flooding hits the more populated areas of Sindh and Punjub. Urgent needs are for food, shelter and health care. Moderator designate the Rev Peter Cheyne is preparing resource material on the theme of General Assembly 2010, which is "making disciple-making disciples". You can access a list of useful books, check out his embryonic blog and also download more copies of his study on the theme.

New lectionary available
The new lectionary for 2010-2011 is now available. The lectionary starts in November and is the calendar of the liturgical year, including Scripture readings for each week.
