Presbyterian archive awarded UNESCO Memory of the World New Zealand award

Presbyterian Research Centre Ng New Zealand Chinese Heritage Collection has been awarded coveted UNESCO Memory of the World New Zealand status. 

The Memory of the World Register lists documentary heritage which has regional and world significance and outstanding universal value.

UNESCO recognition draws attention to the significance of documentary heritage and the institutions that care for it.

Council News October 2017 online

The latest Council News October 2017 is now online. Read about the decisions made when the Council of Assembly met from 27 to 28 October in Auckland. The meeting had a very full agenda and by the time the meeting concluded not all the matters were able to be attended to. This means some will be actioned via email and others will require a teleconference during November.

New Advent worship resources available

New Advent and Christmas worship resources have recently been published on the website, www.conversations.net.nz, run by Presbyterian minister, the Rev Silvia Purdie.

Resources include the lectionary Psalms paraphrased and formatted for worship. There is also a full set of Psalms for children and all-age worship, which is now published in a collection called "Let’s Say a Psalm’" and all the psalms are on the website also in numerical order.
