Apply now to go to the UN with Presbyterian Women

CSW62 (2018) the 62nd session of the Commission on the Status of Women will take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 12 to 23 March 2018. 

Do you have a passion for social justice, gender equity and the empowerment of women? Applications to be a self-funded member of the delegation to attend CSW have been open for the past month. The deadline for applications is meant to be mid-December 2017 but exceptions could perhaps be made for exceptional reasons.

Mark: Illustrated Gospel lectionary resource available soon

Mark: The Illustrated Gospel is almost complete. This creative resource is the work of more than 40 artists from around New Zealand and features a complete paraphrase of Mark's gospel, accompanied with artwork, poetry, music along with liturgical resources and suggestions. The resource will initially be available online in time for the start of Advent at www.onevoice.org.nz. Printed copies will be available in the New Year.

Go to the UN in 2018 with Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women invites applications from those wishing to be a self-funded member of the 2018 Presbyterian Women of Aotearoa NZ Delegation to the United Nations.

Presbyterian Women has special consultative status with the United Nations body responsible for initiatives for the advancement of women. As a member of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), Presbyterian Women has a responsibility to be represented to evaluate progress, set standards and formulate policies to promote gender equality and the advancement of women worldwide.
