Are you a would-be church planter?
Courageous, creative people person, who is committed to Jesus, wanted!
Are you interested in a year of hands-on learning to creatively explore the challenge of church planting in today’s secular society? Are you prepared to receive training, mentoring, practical experience and support? Are you full of passion and enthusiasm and are you prepared to trial innovative ways to connect with non-Christians in a parish environment.
After a year’s mentoring, would you be prepared to commit yourself to at least five years of “on the edge” ministry in a new church planting situation?
Are you a person who likes to be challenged, have their faith stretched and believes God longs for growth in the Church?
We invite you to apply for this fully funded position, to be mentored by the Rev Jim Wallace, and join the team at Bethlehem Community Church, Tauranga for one year - before moving out into your own pioneering church planting situation.
Prior theological training with the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand is necessary.
A full project outline is available from Rev Jim Wallace. wallacej@wave.co.nz
