About Olive Shoots
Our purpose-built centre is situated at 80 Central Park Drive, Henderson, and provides care and education for the children of students undertaking courses of study at Laidlaw College, for the children of staff at Laidlaw College and for children from the wider community. We have excellent ratios and an educational curriculum that reflects our special character.
The Role
At Olive Shoots ECC we are looking for a qualified ECE teacher who is passionate about working with tamariki aged 2 and 3 years of age. We are situated in Henderson, West Auckland and come under the auspices of Laidlaw College INC. We enjoy spacious indoor and outdoor surroundings. This is a fulltime position commencing at the end of January 2025. We are open to considering some flexibility within the specific working days and hours. This will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
We are looking for someone who:

- Has a commitment to the Christian philosophy and ethos of the Centre.
- Has good communication skills to build strong relationships with tamariki, whanau and kaiako.
- Has a respectful and compassionate approach towards teaching.
- Has a growth mindset to further develop knowledge and skills.
- Holds a current teacher registration.
