The World Council of Churches (WCC) is seeking four young people to take part in an 18-month internship programme.
Applications must be aged 21-29 and actively involved in church. Successful applicants will work at the WCC headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland for 12 months followed by a six-month work placement in New Zealand. Each intern is assigned a specific work project in one of the programme areas of the WCC, and will carry out his/her tasks in cooperation with programme staff, one of whom will supervise each intern.
WCC offer interns a living allowance comparable with a student allowance; return economy travel to Geneva from home city; all costs associated with visas and work permit; cost of bringing 30kg of personal items and effects not included in airline allowances – for both travel to Geneva and return to home city; health insurance; fully furnished housing.
